After you've done your research and you feel you're holding a stock the right way, how much fluctuation do you grant to day trading before

you start to consider you might be holding a loser?  And over what length of time of wrong way movement?

 

Holding two shorts and a long right now that I still feel is the correct position, but they've all moved several dollars in the wrong direction today.
