on here. If I am going to grind out some of the totals being put on the weekly top trader list, I would spend about 10 minutes in the AM. Then another 10 around noon/1pm. Then check in around 5pm-6pm and another 15m at 11pm. Then hit reset for 30m to 45m. Then once every 6 weeks do my bonds out for 12 weeks which might take an additional 30m to 45m. I don't play bonds that way until I have probably 200-400m...lower...take 10-20m on Monday or Tuesday before the halt to pick the best profit...less if you use Project Genome. I used to make the top ten pretty easily doing that.
But I work in a theater and have a pc at work. So quick easy access is possible and pertinent to work.
Day trading as you describe it is moreso the typical reset trading. As those stocks tend to peak in a single day then tumble back. Any flipping of stocks has been referred to as day trading here. I enjoy moving a port quickly and set daily % goals if I run a YTD account. Some folks prefer to make their investment and let it sit. To each his own.
