Well, what a week! I never could have predicted that DEADP would blow up as much as it did. I figured it was undervalied at $118 or so, but by $212? No way. So, I averaged into it over a few days, with a total cost of H$120 per share, realizing a gain of H$206,770,000 or a 272% gain in less than a month.
The end result is that the fund has many more positions now than it has since I took over. I believe there are good profits to be had in many Fox properties short and long. Currently 44 positions in the fund are profitable and only 6 are not. I haven't been trading much in the last few days, though.
I thought I'd share some stats about the fund this update, so here goes:
Current positions:
Long: 38 worth H$81,176,000 with an H$8,561,676 or 10.55% unrealized gain.
Short: 17 worth H$31,788,984 with a H$2,424,492 or 7.72% unrealized gain.
55 total positions worth H$112,964,984 with an H$11,016,168 unrealized gain.
These don't include penny stocks:
Biggest H$ gainer is PRME2 with $1.913mm gain.
Biggest H$ loser is FVOYG with H$29k loss.
Biggest % gainer is XFORC with a 53% gain.
Biggest % loser is TCLAN with 16% loss.
I hope to continue to fund interesting investment ideas for the fund. I think with Deadpool's success, Fox may be on to something. It bears watching closely.
Here is the chart from Kaigee.
