With a commodity prices are based on supply and demand, with stocks they're based on that plus the intrinsic value of the company (among other things), with options they're based on time/volatility/etc. What are the HSX prices based on? If a movie is trading for H$30, what does that even mean? How do I know if that is over priced or not? Are we betting on box office returns, and if so, does H$30 represent 30m total gross returns, net returns, or what? I'm very confused about what I'm betting on and the help files have no answers.
