RIP Rocket123 (I believe he has gone inactive), a short history...
I met Rocket123 years ago, thru HSX.
I took him under my wing and taught him alot of stuff.
He participated in the HSX chat room that a group of us had going for years.
After a while he got bored with HSX and was talking about quitting. I talked him out of it and ended up asking HSX to give him the fund that I just started managing (SONYX) so he would have more stuff to do (which led to HSX asking me to take over and delist several abandoned funds DIXIE and BANAL, and I got tired of taking over abandoned funds so I created AFRAM).
Rocket123 went on to be the manager of several other funds.
Rocket123 then started a league to help new players learn HSX, which expanded to a whole series of leagues grouping players by port size, the PVL Leagues, which he ran for several years.
Rocket123 made a huge cross country move in July this year (link) that pulled him away from the game. His personal port suffered and he did not have time to update all the PVL Leagues.
Rocket123 has not traded since 11/26/16 (2 weeks) = since Thanksgiving. He did not post anything on the boards about the gameplay changes being made to HSX (removing opening weekend adjusts), but knowing him, he would not have liked it. It is probably not a coincidence that he went inactive the same weekend that the adjusts went away.
I am not sure when it happened, but it looked like Rocket123 logged in recently and deleted all of the PVL Leagues that he was admin to. They are gone, disappeared. They are not listed under his player profile. I think he did this so there would be no more posts asking about when stats were going to be updated and players asking about being accepted into the next level of the PVL Leagues. It was a cool idea and helpful to many players and maybe somebody might have the time to pick it up and keep it going.
Farewell Rocket123, we had a lot of fun over the years.
