Interest Rate Hike - It is a Mistake!
This is my first post in many, many years (playing since 2002). I think the interest rate hike is a mistake. The whole point of HSX is to wager on movies and create predictive information about movies (to HSX for sale and profit and for me so that I stay up to date on the business part of the movie industry). Star bonds and derivatives also provide useful information in support of these goals.
But the interest rate hike will simply create an incentive for people to opt out of making wagers (why bet on something if you can make 1% returns). Yes, yes, I recognize that the increase creates only very small incentive for most active players to keep their 'money in the bank'. But it is still a step in the wrong direction.

Well, to make the interest rate relevant versus stagnant, many years ago, they decided to follow the Fed Funds rate. Mar 17, 19:05
