A broad, across the board sell-off today. Why?
Can someone explain the 13.5 scrolling pages of red, small increment price drops today vs. only 6.5 scrolling pages of green increases?
I have a large port with a large swath of stocks. Why the sudden drop in price for a massive collection of movie stocks in miniscule (all under a dollar) increments?
Price manipulation by certain port monkey traders? The HSX algorithm decided to make a "correction" today? I find it hard to believe that suddenly, out of the blue, massive numbers of traders decided to collectively sell hundreds of random stocks today?
Usually a high priced Saturday IPO is to blame, as people like to free up cash. I get that. But Princess Diaries 3 is definitely not the reason this time?
Any theories out there?
