Hi Antibody,
sorry, but I have to strongly disagree with your comment. If something is broken then it doesn't work at all. But the old version of HSX worked just well. So one thing for sure: it was not broken. And if the technology was really 10 year old then it was a **** good technology because it worked (also just a tiny bit) better for me then the new version.
That said, let me point out that there is not much I can complain about in the new version. It's a lot slower (and yes, I do have the latest FF version installed) and it is missing little bits and pieces that I cherished in the old version. But overall I can work with it.
The only problem is: This is NOT the point. The point is or rather the word that I want to emphasize is IMPROVEMENT.
If the old HSX was 100% then the new version has to be more then 100% - otherwise it is not an improvement. And if I read the comments here on the board, it simply comes down that they are either indifferent about the new version or have minor complaints like missing the weekly survey, the cold cash or simply the given „max“ in the trade mask. But no hymn of joy. Which IMHO clearly shows that the site was not improved – at least not for the users. And being one of them that is what counts for me.
Which brings us back to the question: Why fix something that isn’t broken?
And I guess the answer to that question is what everybody is looking for.
