I would say few if any of those LONG shares were bought at H$263.34

Sure. But their MEGA-SMACK-DOWN started at 263.34 & continued to Delist Cash out.

If you bought LITYR at $112.50 awhile ago and held on until delist, you didn't get "smacked down".

Sure you did. Racked up 150.84 in PROFITS & then Smacked them ALL Down.

If LAD Hits 3 Homeruns but then Coughs up 3 Homeruns, they will still say that LAD took a 3 Homerun SMACK-DOWN.

Not the same analogy. If you bought a real stock at $10, it goes up to $100 then back down to $10 where you sold, you didn't lose $90.

Same Analogy. Different View. Wiping Out Earned PROFITS / Homeruns is Tomatoe / Potatoe SMACK-DOWN. Will let you have the Tomato / Spuds.

Weird Thinking. If you Bought a Stock for 10.00 in 2019 & it went to 100.00 in 2019 - NO GAIN in 2019 since it went back to 10.00 in 2022?
