Most MST are just floating around on here with nothing going on, typically in development stage. That is where you will find the best shorts. Concept stocks will take up maybe $50mm and you're in all of them.

Development stocks, until they have news, which will make them pop, which typically just makes them better shorts, will drift aimlessly down and down. Pay attention to the news. Until there is news that the film is actually greenlit, any news should be shorted.

Even production and wrapped films can flounder around for a long time until they are actually released. Once a film has a release date, typically shorting a couple weeks before release date is profitable, unless the film is obviously under-estimated on here. DO NOT FIGHT THE TREND. THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND.
