They'd basically be OWs, but with the opening price set at the delist price of the original/older film. Depending on pricing and position limits, they could be used either to triple-down on movies or as hedges. I'm not a purist about the game or its purpose--I'll trade anything I can understand and form an opinion on--so yeah, I think this could be fun.

I actually think it might be fun and useful to have new securities that mirror real world instruments/utility. Maybe stuff that could be used to hedge other positions (maybe a version of swaps?)? Or maybe indexes that'd track a studio slate or a genre or some other basket of securities (these could replace or supplement Movie Funds). Or--and this is even less thought-out--maybe a way to trade volatility, a la the VIX? I find reset trading and negative port trading kind of annoying, and would love a way to profit when you know that a flurry of trading activity is coming.
