Splash: Rumour or not? Brad Pitt coming to the rescue of his film director friend Guy Ritchie. In his film (SHOLM).

Ritchie cut out the role of the detective's arch enemy, much to the annoyance of movie executives who ordered that he reinstate Holmes' evil nemesis. Ritchie then called his friend Brad Pitt for help, and filming the scenes is due to start in London this week. A source revealed: "It's a huge coup to have Brad joining the cast. "He has worked for Guy before and said if he could, he would do anything to help out. "It was an oversight in the film not to make a bigger deal about Moriarty. He is mentioned as Holmes' arch enemy, but the bosses wanted Guy to make more of him." Brad is expected to film all over London, including at Cliveden House, earmarked as the location for Moriarty's home.
