It's funny, and perhaps some truth to it, but I don't know.. The starbonds thing takes an hour a week, maximum.
Reacting to news early is the tougher part - so it requires either a smart-phone, or a mobile broadband connection. In many jobs, one cannot use phone while at work, so then one will definitely be hindered.
This game, like life, is not fair.
But like in real life, those who have all the choices, can get ahead a lot, from the pack. That is an exact replica of life in general - very unfair, but there are patterns, there..
