Wow, if this doesn't get the PTB attention, then not even a 12 lbs sledgehammer to the side of the head will. It's pretty sad

that the players have to write their own code to be able to play the game. People that use Firefox are downloading aps that allow you to not load different areas in the web-pages. When you are trying to trade fast why would you want the stock graph to load. Or the ticker to scroll. All I need is a page to load as fast as possible. They didn't even give us a text page to load. Anf the constantly have to reload  whole port pages everytime you back space has to be put a big load on the server. And what's with when you log in it loads the port. I hit log in and then stop. I don't need to load the port every time I have to re-log in. And what's with that. Even my local library allows the users to log in for a short term or if you need a longer session the rest of the day. The short term was set up for those that were using  shared of public  computers, long term was for those that using there home computers. That's just embarrassing, HSX is out done by my library. ROTFLMAO. My side hurts. :)

I play another game and on the latest update they took out  a small bit of information that used to load on the main player page but wasn't used much they removed it so that the pages load faster so that the player experience is enhanced. The info is just a one click away. I can't think of one game that makes you do extra steps for something that  used to be a one click. But I know several games that I used to play that did that. They lost so many players because they were frustrated with the game changes that the game went under. Once the code monkeys finally finish and Cantor  gets it betting lines up maybe that will pay for HSX. And they won't even need us any more. The problem with HSX right now is that the game is designed for the data and not for the traders that give them at data. We are an irrational inconvenience to them. But the funny thing is we give them the initial betting line after that it will shift when the bettors place their wagers with real cash.

How would your portfolio page look if it was re-designed by EdZep? Take a look at Port Monkey, then get it for yourself. edzep Aug 22, 06:10

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Ready for a couple of questions and requests? ryancoke2 Aug 22, 06:57

Edzep, thanks ndmaster Aug 22, 20:31

I'll take a look at it when I get some time. Cash, in particular, got omitted because... edzep Aug 22, 07:52

Yes, I see a close button on the left and some other stuff I don't understand. ryancoke2 Aug 22, 08:03

I don't see pieces of your 'close button' script. {nm} grammar Aug 22, 08:06

strange, since I do have it partially figured out -- (ryan, please read, here) edzep Aug 22, 08:18

Above was with GM disabled. This is Reply with GM enabled {nm} ryancoke2 Aug 22, 08:30

I think there's something wrong on my end. My Sell and Cover buttons won't work with this. {nm} ryancoke2 Aug 22, 08:32

Your replies are clean, now. edzep Aug 22, 08:36

ryancoke2, the changes you requested are now in place. edzep Aug 23, 05:58

looks so much better - I haven't been able to get in to this version b/c and am losing ground! {nm} journey Aug 22, 07:23

Looks great!!!! Thanks Ed =) {nm} grammar Aug 22, 07:23

This may bring me back to active trading. {nm} Qale Aug 22, 08:33

Qale, thank you for that post on ST. I wanted to invite disaffected traders back myself... edzep Aug 22, 08:34

I'm not sure what your inner message means, but yeah I really like what you've done. Qale Aug 22, 08:48

personally, i like the version we have, this other version is just a rip off {nm} gmenrule Aug 22, 08:35

nice work!...will it also put 3 billion dollars in my port? :D {nm} tealfan Aug 22, 10:38

not working. what am i doing wrong? eyescovered Aug 22, 10:40

You'll have to say more about what's not working. edzep Aug 22, 11:14

seems to have installed fine. it is enabled. my port looks the same it always has. {nm} eyescovered Aug 22, 11:27

Maybe you have to prefixx the included pages with "www" jameza Aug 22, 12:15

You know, that is a possibility. People living in different regions may receive pages from different servers edzep Aug 22, 12:19

that was it, thanks! {nm} eyescovered Aug 22, 12:20

Very good. I'll get that included in an update tonight, so no one else will have the same problem. {nm} edzep Aug 22, 12:21

Next thing edzep Aug 22, 12:15

it works but the close button doesn't close it. i looked in the error console and tons of stuff pops up when i enable them. eyescovered Aug 22, 12:21

I'll have to think on that. edzep Aug 22, 12:41

Just in case edzep Aug 22, 13:19
