Just because a movie plays at Toronto doesn't mean it has distribution or will get distribution or will get any sort of wide release whatsoever. In fact, many of the movies that don't have major label distribution before Toronto may not be released for a year or more and then possibly even limited. There are rare exceptions but they are indeed rare. For instance, just cause TRESP is playing there, doesn't mean it will get more than a nominal theatrical release before DVD much like other movies from Millenium/First Run.Â
