I agree about the Lemony Snicket franchise. It should've been his.
I've never seen "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" before, but from the critical reception it got, I'm assuming that it is a good performance by him. When I was talking about "his groove", I was referring to comedies along the likes of the movies I mentioned before. Yes Man, Fun with Dick and Jane, etc. were not exactly box office smashes, but as well as that, they weren't anywhere near as funny as his previous comedies.
