Because Disney has completed mismarketed the film with lousy trailers, changing the title and lame promotions etc..

I did some 1:1 comparisons with Real Steel which should be the same audience and that was tracking better than John Carter

Yeah, I was watching the games yesterday and just getting pelted with OMARS left and right. Really liked what they did to the trailers.
