I disagree on the execution.
1) The guy probably wants to die now, why give him what he wants? He'll suffer more in jail.
2) It's WAYYYYY more interesting to watch. I will be glued to the TV tomorrow when he makes his first court appearance. I'm fasincated by crazy people, I really want to know what would possess a seemingly normal kid to end up in the kind of mental state that would allow him to do something like that.
