I'll admit: I already knew the anser. There is no vaild argument that can be made that does not include that which cannot be proven (Fath/Belief).

I respect your journey and your experiences - they are yours and it's your life to live your way (within legal boundaries, of course). :)

My pet peeve is when anyone uses their personal belief system as a hammer against others. All people do this, from all religions, from all races, countries, creeds, etc. People will take something they believe in absolutely (even if they are wrong) and use it as an excuse to destroy others, usually with a perfectly valid reasoning for it within their belief system.

This does not mean they are right.

I think this is where A4J failed in his comments last night. He was doing precisely what he accused others of doing: Taking what he believes in and using it against others who believe differently without qualification, explanation, or even a general acknowledgement his statements could not possibly be verified as true in the sense he was making them. "Factually true" is not the whole truth, as evidenced by most political discourse these days.

Once again, I maintain that everyone is free to say what they want, but they are not free from the consequences of what their speech may elicit (e.g. the idiot who who made the anti-Islam film). One can't walk into a crowded room, take a poop on the floor, and not expect anyone to take exception to the stink you've made.

accountant_4_Jesus was removed as fund manager for the Awards Fund. Why? {nm} Tanker Oct 17, 20:29

I bought the fund because A4J was running it. This is highly annoying. {nm} elchan Oct 17, 20:51

A4J did a wonderful job on the fund, but I guess thoughtcrime must be punished. {nm} Tanker Oct 17, 21:01

Not sure this belongs here . . . websch01ar Oct 18, 05:07

Okay, let's say for argument's sake A4J violated the CoC. Where in the CoC does it say if you violate, you will lose your fund management? Tanker Oct 18, 05:37

I stated my support for A4J from a freedom/liberty perspective, however MGMT... websch01ar Oct 18, 05:46

So DMac can remove a fund manager without warning for something the manager did not do but apologized for anyway? Tanker Oct 18, 06:04

Is what it is. {nm} websch01ar Oct 18, 06:05

What it is is bull****. {nm} Tanker Oct 18, 06:07

And I appreciate your support of A4J. {nm} Tanker Oct 18, 06:40

so what happened? i don't see any discussion in feedback..... {nm} forlorne Oct 18, 05:45

Here ya go... websch01ar Oct 18, 05:47

A4J was accused of saying all Muslims are killers (which he did not do) and A4J apologized for any offense taken. Tanker Oct 18, 06:00

watch yourself, you just said "all Muslims are killers"....wait, so did I now...........AAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaa {nm} forlorne Oct 18, 06:25

Good thing I don't run a fund or it would be taken away from me without warning. {nm} Tanker Oct 18, 06:27

Just because I can't yell fire in a crowded theater doesn't mean I'm being censored. Steved1998 Oct 18, 13:56

I meant this as a general reply to the thread {nm} Steved1998 Oct 18, 13:57

A4J, stick around. Don't let these people censor your views. {nm} elchan Oct 18, 08:36

For the (hopefully) last time: IT'S NOT CENSORSHIP! He said exactly what he wanted to say and suffered consequences for it. BSmurf Oct 18, 09:24

My friend... websch01ar Oct 18, 10:36

The flip side: BSmurf Oct 18, 12:02

Thank you for the response. BSmurf Oct 18, 12:59

Is a full-fledged argument worthwhile? websch01ar Oct 18, 13:04

Re: macro-evolution: Was an off-topic digression and not relevant to the question that was proposed. BSmurf Oct 18, 13:27

Guys, please don't get into an argument on account of me. I don't want that. {nm} accountant_4_Jesus Oct 18, 13:31

You premise is that man is naturally good, yes? {nm} websch01ar Oct 19, 04:33

Well, yes, and my criteria are easily explained as i did not come to belief until i was 40. logically, most "religions"" forlorne Oct 18, 13:35

Oh please, when there's severe action taken, as a result of an opinion that you put forth on an internet forum, it's censorship. elchan Oct 18, 11:40

Correct, but this is not a governmental entity and the TOS is clear. {nm} websch01ar Oct 18, 11:51

They are the "authorities", of HSX, and A4J did not perpetrate a personal attack on any particular member. elchan Oct 18, 12:37

Indeed, but the thread was in the wrong forum and he was not the creator of the thread. websch01ar Oct 18, 12:42

elchan and websch01ar, I can see where both of you are coming from, but I would rather not have another argument started because of me. accountant_4_Jesus Oct 18, 13:34
