that was weak, similar to this weekend. Avengers improved upon spidey 3 by 37.3%. If The Hobbit increases upon Legend by a similar amount, that puts its opening at $105.9m. The Hunger Games beat Alice by 31.4%. If Hobbit performs the same it will gross $101.4m. Let's say Avatar would've collected $10m more on opening weekend if not for the storm. I think this is a reasonable assumption. If Hobbit opens 37% higher than $87m it will make $119.2m. I don't think it is crazy to suggest that the movie will make $120m or more this weekend. Again, I predicted $108m, but truly, the film could open with anywhere from $75m to $125m. Not calling you out, because everything anyone says at this point is conjecture, but what do you think it will make this weekend? Again, not confrontational, just curious.
