Merry Christmas/Happy Festivus/Happy Refridgerator day theatre report for the Hobbit 3D

Its been a while, but hey, why not?  Saw the Hobbit today in Las Vegas.  Overall, the theatre was pretty slow, but I've never gone to the movies on Christmas before, so nothing to compare it to.  Django didn't have any lineups or anything, fwiw.  Neither did Les Miz

The first hour of the Hobbit is virtually unwatchable.  It is so goofy and silly, it is almost an embarrassment to the franchise.  However, it really picked up after that.  The battle in the troll
