So Who Saw What Last Week? (me - Zero Dark Thirty: B-, Premium Rush: B-, Dredd: C+)
ZDT: Disappointing. Saw a review that called this 'nothing more than a Law & Order style procedural', and am sorta inclined to agree. Just feel it was all facts and lacking in the human element. Now all the investigation stuff was interesting, and the end takedown well done, tho it wasnt much more than sylvester stallone and the expendables with a fancier pedigree.
Premium: very lightweight fluff, yet mildly fun. michael shannon made for an amusing bad guy, and the cycling was well done.
Dredd: better than expected. visuals, especially the slo-mo stuff, were quite good, and thirlby looked great as blond. but after a while, standard plot started to bore me.
