A lot seems to be going into the #. Even at $50 a ticket, that amounts to 56,000 tickets sold, which I found hard to believe...

Looking into it, however, it appears that many ticket services have bought up the good seats in NYC and are re-selling them at premiums (as high as $195). You can't find good tickets for many of the playdates at all there, whereas the much-smaller aud in LA still has decent availability.

So how many of the $2.8m are actual buyers shelling out $50 is kind of a mystery.
