The non-series movies from TP do better when they have recognizable names attached. The more well known actors in Temptation are in supporting roles and that may hurt. On the flip side, there are people who go out of their way to see TP movies opening weekend. It's as much of a political message to Hollywood as it is fan support. As for marketing, as an older female, they have done an effective job of getting the cast out and not overplaying Kim K.s participation and that doesn't even include the TP marathons happening on TBS and other cable channels. The target audience does know the film is out there. I have no idea how the holiday will affect ticket sales. I can see people making an effort to see it early and I can also see a late push for people going to see it after Easter dinner. At this stage of the game, I have a hard time seeing a TP movie opening for less than $15M but there are alot of factors that will keep this from doing significantly more than that.Ā
