"Ali" did $14 million opening weekend, and I'd argue he had a much more mainstream following than Jackie Robinson ever did. Maybe it's the civil rights angle in general that you think will make it have the best opening weekend of any baseball movie ever? I'm just not seeing it.
I shorted "42" when it hit $53...and I'll cover when / if it sinks past $45, which is still a respectable opening weekend for any baseball movie.
