Based on the Broadway play by David Ives, who co-wrote the script with the director, the story takes place in the theater world, and centers on the writer/director of a new play who is immersed in the process of finding an actress for a role in his upcoming work. A new talent comes in at the last minute and is seemingly the opposite of everything he's looking for....
Polanski's better half, Emmanuelle Seigner stars in the flick alongside Mathieu Amalric, in what sounds like a film that could be a powderkeg of acting. No distribution yet, but should the movie heat up the Croisette, that will likely change.
