What won't be reported is Pynchon himself making a cameo, which is all but certain...The recluse Pynchon has an avid following and as most of his novels are to byzantine in their plots to be adapted for the screen, you'll have devotees having waited since the seventies to attend a Pynchon movie. Word of mouth is going to be crazy for this movie, a lot of people will bring friends to turn them on to the novels they can't seem to fully explain over beers. Remember the buzz when the Simpsons included him in an episode. He is also a master of dialogue, so not only will there be great actors in this one, they'll prolly turn in performances that will garner awards consideration, I mention this also on the back of PTA's track record in getting a lot out of his cast.
