1PM show on Friday. Theater 3/4 full.
Snacks - The #1, Large Popcorn and Large Sprite.
Previews-
Sherlock Holmes - This trailer actuall made the movie look better than the others I've seen.
Growing Up - Two words "Hot Mess."
Wolfman - No point seeing the movie since the trailer has shown us everything.
Avatar - Best trailer I've seen so far, actually tells you the premise of the story and why the marines are on the planet.
Shutter Island - Delayed and looks like crap
Salt - New AJOLI flick, looks like a cross between Wanted and Die Hard.
Prince of Pursia - Looks great, but JGyll with a British Accent.
Long filck, 3 hours but it moves very quickly. The acting is actually very good. It's the first disaster flick, I've seen that doesn't let the kids dominate the film with crying, pleading and screaming. The plot is a bit of a strech especially during the last 45 minutes. I mean you really have to want it to make it work for you. There are huge hole in the plot that you could drive a truck through. There was almost no audience reaction through the entire film, even during the comedic elements, which I found somewhat odd. It has the best special effeccts in a disaster flick to date.
It should do very well this weekend, especially with the weather in the NE.
There should be some great StarBond action off of this flick.
