The StarPulse article (http://www.starpulse.com/news/index.php/2010/01/04/hardy_men_director_is_challenged_with_sc) mentions that they don't know what to do with the mystery that Cruise and Stiller would find themselves involved in. Not to go into details, but as a screenwriter I would have them try to re-solve a mystery from their past that is either recurring because it was never completely solved or was incorrectly solved when they were teenagers and now there is a public backlash against them and they must work together to make things right.
