Needs to make around $450m to make its budget back, and around $700m to cover P&A?

Hollywood accounting (where it's always a loser) and special cases aside, rule of thumb is Domestic Gross > Production Budget = Profit. {nm}

Per BOM, Production Budget was $225M, Domestic already $210M. Cume headed for $300M+, same overseas, + $170M promo money... {nm}

... already banked. So $750M+, + merchandising, DVD/Blu-Ray, later windows, editions, etc. for 95-125 years. "What do you think?" :-) {nm}

The drops of better mega-opener comparatives dip to just over 50% third w/e, then below that to 40-ish and lower... {nm}

With July 4 pumping the numbers up a bit, it should break $300M, and more likely make $320M than your $280M IMO. We'll see. {nm}

If the Director's 3-hr cut already exists as rumored and if Warners were to re-release with that in a few months, much more. :-) {nm}

What comps are you thinking of? Everyone else is comparing to Dark Knight Rises, but that film is not comparable to this one at all.

The Potter, Wolverine and X-Men with worse second w/e drops. Latter in early June so SUPR2 has July 4 advantage coming up. We'll see. {nm}
