I heard that Michael Nyqvist (the Swedish actor who played Blomqvist in the original Millenium movies) is to star in a new TV series for Swedish television that has nothing to do with Stieg Larsson's books/adaptations.

Either could be right (or wrong). Who knows? But it's the kind of thing that could easily be misunderstood.
