His voice doesn't project much of an "attitude". It's definitely not the kind of voice that comes in my head in the comics. Maybe Cooper will come up with a voice that's good though.
Bruce Willis is probably closer (assume audiences don't remember Over the Hedge). Diesel would have been more interesting in this part too.
