WKARW's obsession with slow frame-rate shots just doesn't work here at all. He simply does it at completely random points regardless of editing, so remember that before complaining to the projectionist. The aging make-up only made the time line more difficult to follow rather than easier. I see no way that it can possibly find a wide audience.
