anticipated Free Birds, we haven't had anything for kids since Cloudy.
Tangled did a 68.7M during it's first 5 days, just three years ago opening on the same day/week. Frozen is establishing a couple new Disney princesses and it's being pimped everywhere I look (keep in mind I have a six year old daughter).
With the success of Tangled after it's theater run, I'm hoping families can trust the quality for these type of films (meaning Disney Anim can hang with Pixar). At just 85 minutes, compared to Tangleds' 100 minutes, there will be a ton of daily shows and that's going to help.
The number I want to see out of Wednesday next week is 12M or higher.

Rapunzel is a much more famous fairy tale than the Snow Queen though. {nm} Antibody Nov 22, 09:06

sure, in it's limited release. but my six year old has never heard of Katniss Everdeen, and for good reason. not that I think HGAM2 is lobogotti Nov 22, 09:25
Tangled went against Harry Potter and still did well, there is no reason Frozen and Hunger games would be much different Jstang13 Nov 22, 09:25
id say HPOT skews more towards boys. and HGAM will take the tween girls that might have seen frozen. {nm} adrenalin112 Nov 22, 10:02
i still see success for frozen because its a long and historically profitable weekend, just much less than what it COULD have been. :/ {nm} adrenalin112 Nov 22, 10:03
I agree. It will be interesting to see how it plays out along side of all the Hunger Games hype Jstang13 Nov 22, 10:50
Frozen should be huge. Reviews are off the charts with many calling it Best Animated Film winner. {nm} thatpj Nov 22, 09:49
