The difference between LOTR and the hobbit is the LOTR was three seperate books, over hundereds of pages long, and the hobbit is 200 300 pag

Speaking for myself, I'm weary of the "must-see" Tolkein diet; still feeling cynical about the 3-part stretch. I can wait. A long time.

I wouldn't write off Hobbit2 yet. It will get fantastic WOM and hobbits might be relatively small but they have strong legs. [nm]
