If you did it again next year you could add some tiebreaker #4 and #5 if you wanted to. Another way to make ties less likely would be to add a few categories, e.g. Documentary, Animated, and Song, so 10 points categories in total and 10 x 5 = 50 points available (or is there some rule where Animated can theoretically have < 5?) . Then the tiebreakers.

It's a lot of work, but I liked the contest so thanks again. There are probably a lot of Oscar Pools out there along the same lines, but I don't recall one like this here.

The 25 participants isn't bad considering you posted it less than 24 hours prior. If you posted it, say, a week in advance, you might get a lot more next year. (Personally, I'd have played without the gift card incentive but it may help.)
