2. Given those flashbacks, it seems it's possible that he could very well regain use of his legs anyways before losing them once more permanently...? That's indeed an excellent point by the way--they seem to have fired off that pistol a little early with "X-Men: First Class," though I'm sure it was uncertain just how successful that film was going to be, and whether they could cover that ground later. Just a thought.
