Talk about people with no sense of adventure or just plain bored with life. When I said this is a movie that a man can take a lady on a date to and enjoy it I meant it. Since Hollywood seems to think movies that attract men to theatre is blood, gut's, gore and hi-tech movies that are shot before a green screen.
Clint Eastwood was very authintic about this movie and it's characters. When shooting the musical parts there was no play back, it was pure open mike in front of the camera and it worked. This movie I was trying to stress is a great DATE MOVIE. Something to go see with your best gal or guy and leave feeling like you are flooting five feet from the ground and wanting to see it again. Get over your absurd ideas that it was meant to be sexist in the purest sense. Because in a way it is, in that men can't go to a good feel good movie and groan. This movie will be enjoyable in many ways.
If you score points more the better, because you took the time to sit in a movie that is music that this new generation has no clue about. The music that you hear from the Four Season and Franki Valli will be around allot longer than some of the music that Justin Bieber, Beyonce and other that think that lip synching is ok. The audience today has forgotten what seeing real talent is about,
