ALONE IN BERLIN (JEDER STIRBT FÜR SICH ALLIEN) - March, 2015 - Germany; Details Are only Available By Subscription.. STORY: The film is about Otto and Anna, an ordinary German couple living in a shabby apartment block, try to stay out of trouble under Nazi rule. But when they discover their only son has been killed fighting at the front they are shocked into an extraordinary act of resistance and start to drop anonymous postcards attacking Hitler across the city. If caught, they will be executed. Soon this silent campaign comes to the attention of ambitious Gestapo inspector Escherich and a murderous game of cat-and-mouse begins.
