They filmed scenes where the other Avatars took control of Hells Gate (the human base) by force during the big battle - But those scenes were never finished as they were cut early.
They might show up in an extended cut, or as a deleted scene.
But that's why you see the other avatars at the end guarding the lines of humans to the shuttle. The avatar operators stayed on Pandora.
