my point was simple: they have no idea if it will make 4.5 or 14.5 or 450k or whatever amount. if they dump it, it could make 45k

They've already seen the film and decided to spend only "$4.4 million in distribution costs" that includes theatrical, VOD and Blu-ray.

I'm curious. Relativity is being 'allowed' to release these films, but will anyone ever do new business with the studio?
