I have no problem believing HATE8 delisting substantially above adjust. I foresee legs aplenty for HATE8.

I foresee middling word of mouth and direct competition from The Revenant next week. No legs. {nm}

I still take Cinemascores with a grain of salt. They're neither here nor there far as I'm concerned. HATE8 will have an audience for 4 wks.

The audience that saw it at the roadshow last week? Or the audience who feels tricked that they saw a tight mystery billed as an epic?

Understood. I'm going by the numerous Tarantino fans who post on IMDB and Facebook who are all like "I wanna see it NEXT week..."

So? Two years ago, Wolf of Wall Street got a C and Grudge Match got a B+, and Wolf had much better legs than Grudge

Once Tarantino fans get over those holiday hangovers, the rest of them will show up weekdays and into the next few weekends. Plus, Awards.

1 more thing. HATE8 will get Academy love with the only question being "how much". Don't count out HATE8 leggy box office just yet.
