report from a friend of mine who attended a preview screening last night ..
According to him, basically, the problem here is Superman. Zach Snyder's abysmal take on the character weighs the whole thing down, not to mention the terrible Lex Luthor.
He said Ben Affleck actually does a good job as Batman; he wasn't in love with how the script handled the character throughout, but Affleck's performance offered a different, but convincing, view of the character.
Apparently the one truly great thing about the movie was Wonder Woman, and he reports there's not nearly enough of her to make up for the rest.
