That's a reality, but I do wonder how this movie is going to perform with Asian audiences. (It's hard to say, because so many Asian-themed
Hollywood movies - 47 Ronin, Dragonball Evolution, Final Fantasy, etc - have been flops in both the US and Asia.
The Last Airbender is the most successful one I can think of, but it made only $6M in Japan, $4.5M in China and maybe $10M in other East Asian markets, which is a small share of $190M international. (But it was based on an American TV series and didn't have manga/anime origins)
