I'm theorizing that all the fanboys who hated BvS didn't return--and were replaced by "Hunger Games"-era fangirls for Harley Quinn.
The weekend box office numbers echo a dip in BvS returns and is hovering around "Hunger Games"/"Twilight" OW numbers. Thus, it must be the chicks.
