Not sure if this is the right forum.. but here goes - what is the deal with 3D? We seem to have a few guys on here at least close to industry pro's...
Frankly, I try to avoid it. As a spectacles wearer, the big black over-glasses tend to steam up, and anyway, for the bulk of the movies, it makes them so gloomy. We could only catch a 3D viewing of the latest Pirates pic yesterday - the Caribbean looked like Grimsby on a wet weekend, at night. What gives? Surely they must know people are going to view the 3D version through, effectively, sunglasses, Shouldn't that version be brighter? Ā
I go to a relatively modern British cinema - I would hope they are showing it correctly...
Any better ways of doing this on the way?
Do they do 3D glasses that are not so sunglassy?
Just asking
