Obviously, the teaser is inspiring the HSX audience to invest, but I'm not feeling it. I'm getting an It Comes At Night vibe mixed with a bit of Don't Breathe. It Comes At Night was a big disappointment in my opinion. I'm sure the studio would love to match Don't Breathe, but I think the similarities end after the noise issue. Plus, Don't Breathe was able to use darkness/location in a smart way as a way of increasing the terror of facing off against a blind villian.
The really ugly comp I initially thought of was The Happening.
