So, disclaimer -- I don't know anything. Haven't been here much in 12 years, just a guy who likes to go to a movie when I can, only $200M, so take this all for what little it's worth; I do this all for fun.
Let's not bury the lede: FREDI was getting out when we got there and when we left. Crowds were nuts over it. Calling people in the parking lot to tell them how good it was. My Facebook feed is going wild over it. Think you'll see great social media, Rotten Tomatoes, WOM.
Halloween was fun. 7:30 showing in a small dine in theater, but was pretty full.
Trailers that i can remember:
Destroyer -- Best trailer of the night, IMO. We were Nicole Kidman fans and then lost her, but this looks like it's her at her best. Would certainly go see. Very little reaction from crowd:
Prodigy -- Same trailer that's circulating. Very little feedback from crowd.
Happy Death Day 2U -- Great trailer. Looks hilarious. Solid laughs from collecting crowd. Only reaction from audience to any trailer. Not your typical Valentine's Day flick, but I'd certainly go see it.
Widows -- Shown early on in trailers and was short.
Aquaman -- First time wife saw the trailer. Very excited, talked about must see for boys (9 and 6).
Overlord -- Trailer didn't give a lot away, but enough to pique my interest. Wife was a hard "no" but she doesn't like the horror stuff, despite indulging me to see Halloween, if you count that as horror.
There were others but can't remember them. Tells you what you need to know.
(Wife reminded me that we saw a trailer for Glass, too. No idea what's going on there.)
