the problem is, the whole (or a large part) reason cases exploded when everything was reopened at Memorial Day is all the indoor activities

I thought that Landmark's New York theater uptown was closing for good. Is there more than the 54th Street theater?

Yeah, that's the only one. Maybe they worked out some kind of deal (or the interview was conducted before they decided to close it?)

It's tough to imagine any cinemas opening back to capacity until COVID cases bottom out and stay down for a while.
