As someone they grew up in the in the 70's , Scott Derrickson really captures all the details of of living in that time. From how kids behaved towrds each other, to how authority would handle things when bad things happen (like kids disappearing or some other tragedy)

And the family's home life was so real. the 2 kids and Jeremy Davies were brilliant.
